About

Hi, my name is Libby. I am a daughter, wife, and a mother of 3 sons. My kids are grown and have families of their own. So, what do you do after there is no more: homeschooling, chauffeuring kids to soccer, or other extra curricular activities. At the age of 49 I went to college. Something I had wanted to do since I was 18. I have concentrations in printmaking, photography, and a minor in art history. I truly miss those days of classes, deadlines, and good friends.

After graduation I fell in love with food photography and sought out any information I could about the subject. After searching the net I found a mentor and what is now my food photography bible – “Plate to Pixel” by Helene Dujardin. I was also able to attend one of her wonderful workshops giving me a chance to put into practice the valuable information that was taught.

This blog is a journey to fill my creative soul using recipes, photographs, and art. All my creative outlets in on place. I am hin creative storytelling using my recipes, photographs, art, and things that inspire.
